The Oracle Health Sciences User Group/ OHSUG (formerly OCUG) is an international group of users of the Oracle Clinical software and related applications. Oracle Clinical is a database system for capturing, storing and processing clinical trial data.

 About Us  

The purpose of the OHSUG is to facilitate the exchange of information and experience among users of the system, and to support and guide the Oracle Corporation with respect to further development of the products within the Oracle Health Sciences (OHS) applications suite.

The OHSUG is managed by an Executive Committee that includes representatives from a diverse selection of companies.  The communication vehicles are scheduled teleconferences, electronic mail, face-to-face meetings, annual OHSUG meetings and this web site.

Mission Statement
To promote and facilitate exchange of information between group members about their ideas and experience with implementation and use of Oracle Clinical and related application systems.

To suggest enhancements and improvements for Oracle Clinical and related Oracle applications, and recommend directions for future development.

To explore and facilitate opportunities for creating a comprehensive systems environment to support clinical studies.
 Membership is open to:  

• Any company that has purchased, or is in the final stages of contract negotiations with Oracle to purchase, any product in Oracle's Health Sciences suite.

• Vendor companies that have purchased a license for one or more products in Oracle's Health Sciences suite.
